Disney...but make it bougie

πŸ“FLORIDA

I've never been a theme park person.

Turns out, a VIP experience can turn just about anyone into a fangirl.

Hi Reader,

If you have ever dreamed of getting all the good parts of Disney with none of the lines or stress or planning ahead, I have the hack for you. And by "hack," I mean "way to throw money at the problem."

I recently gorged on three days of VIP theme park experiences - 2 days at World Disney World and 1 day at Universal Studios Orlando. I've written all about both experiences and compared them, so if you're looking for a spendy-but-amazing way to conquer Orlando, you can go in equipped to have the best day possible. Keep reading for the details.

Wherever you're off to next, I hope it's magical.

This vs That

Disney VIP Tour vs Universal VIP Tour

Or do you skip them both?

My husband had work travel in Orlando, so I planned our first theme park trip on a whim. I will never pretend to be a theme park expert, but I think we did it right. Check out my review of the Walt Disney World VIP tour and how it compares to the Universal Studios VIP tour.

In the blog, I compare the VIP experiences and crown an overall winner on:

β†’ cost, and more importantly, value

β†’ food

β†’ service

β†’ overall experience

Put on your (VIP plaid) mouse ears and dig in.

πŸ“WHERE ARE YOU HEADED THIS SPRING?

It's going to be a busy one over here.

I realized that in one day last week, I was working on 4 different upcoming trips. In March and April, I am headed to Las Vegas (professional group event), Los Angeles (with friends), and to our beach house in Pescadero, Mexico twice, once with friends and once with the family for spring break.

Speaking of spring break, I wrote an article for a partner site about how spring break prices are at record highs and shared budget-friendly places to visit. It's gotten picked up in dozens of publications (hi Seattle Times and Boston Globe!) and it could be good inspiration for you, too. You can read the original article here.
